They share stories of meeting celebrities like Pierce Brosnan, Jeremy Irons, and Woody Harrelson at the festival.
 
We hear the reaction to last night's opening movie 'The Miracle Club' whilst Eibh O'Brien-Collins (Director of Shorts Programming) joins Garry to talk about today's line-up of short films and documentaries.
 
They also talk about the importance of storytelling and representation in documentaries and mention specific films to look out for. The hosts encourage listeners to attend the festival and interact with filmmakers. They also recommend a few must-see screenings today.

Gabriel Byrne
From blockbusters of the 1990s such as The Usual Suspects and Into the West, to recent hits Hereditary and Lost Girls, celebrated Irish actor Gabriel Byrne has enjoyed an illustrious career that spans cinema, television and the stage. His performance in his new film Death of a Ladies’ Man, which  was featured in the 2021 Fleadh programme, recently won Byrne the IFTA for Actor in a Lead Role. Byrne plays Samuel O’Shea, a lifelong womaniser who begins experiencing strange visions that disrupt his world and begin to alarm him.
Byrne discusses this role and his craft with prolific Irish actor and writer Kate O’Toole.

Which pitch was your favourite? And which one won the €3000 cash prize?
